Verdict for Fosse
Dancing :) :) :)
Choreography recreated by Chet Walker
Co- Choreographed by Ann Reinking.
The dancing was fantastic I don't know how the cast can manage two shows a day.
The girls were spoltless unfortunately the boys were not aethically pleasing with even height and sizes. Thw show is a bit different from the Broadway show with new nos'From the Edge' Percussion 4', 'Hooray for Holloywood', 'From this moment On', 'Manson Trio'...added but none of these numbers can outshine the orginal show.
Music :) :) :)
I feel Nicola is nore at ease with creating her starring role than filling other actors footsteps in Chicago. Nicola is truely a lead in this production. If you think 'I Gotcha' and 'Bye Bye Blackbird' are great songs you can just imagine what the impact was like when Liza frist sang it in her Broadway show.
Singing :)
Nick Winston was a great dance with all grace and show buisness smile but I think ' Mr Bojangles' really need a strong voice to carry the rather mininim song.
Production :) :)
Directed by Richard Maltby, Jr and Ann Rienking.
Scenery :)
Santo Loquastro.
Costume :)
Sound :)
Jonathan Deans.
Lighting :) :)
Andrew Bridge.
Acting :)
