Martin Crewes



Martin was born in London but moved to Australia at the age of ten.

He graduated from the Western Academy of Performing Arts (WAPA)

in 1990 with a BA in musical Theatre.

Productions in Australia includes; The Scarecrow in the Australian tour of the Wizard of Oz; played Hugo

and covered the role of Alex in Gale Edward's Aspect of Love;

Chino in Ian Judge's West Side Story; Lt Joe Cable in South Pacific,

director Chris Wrenshaw.

Television includes: Neighbors, RFDS, Phoenix,The Grand.

In 1996 Martin played Marius in the international tour of Les Miserables, performing in Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea and South Africa.

In 1997 Martin appeared as Marius in Les Miserable in the West End

In 1998 Martin played Guy in John Kander and Fred Ebb's ' The Rink ', a huge success at the Orange Tree Theatre Richmond.

Martin also worked on a TV drama with Sky TV 'Dream Team'.

Martin starred as the leading man in Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical -

'Woman in White'.
