Ben trained at the Laine Theatre arts, Epsom. On leaving he played the singing outlaw Alan-A-Dale in the pantomime Babies In The Wood with Frank Bruno.
Theatre credits, West End includes : Smokey Joe's Cafe ( Prince Of Wales ); Pish Tush in the American musical Hot Mikado ( Queen's Theatre ); Kenickie in Grease ( Dominion Theatre ); Kevin in Meet The Boys ( Players Theatre ); A tribute To Rudolf Nureyev at the Coliseum where he was honored to partner Natalia Makarova; Radio Times ( Queens Theatre ) and The Royal Variety Performance at the Dominion Theatre.
Ben also appeared in the Vivian Ellis Award nominated Sensations and An Excellent Adventure at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Other theatre credits includes: Scott in Up On The Roof ( Queens Theatre, Hornchurch ); touring with Marti Webb in the Magic Of The Musicals, and with Sacha Distel and Rosemarie Ford in the Golden Songs of The Silver Screen.
Television credits include the BBC comedy Dad. He made his feature film debut in the 60's musical film Julie and The Cadillacs. He has since been seen in Bring Me The Head Of Davis starring Rick Mayall and Jane Horrocks and featured in Even After All, Perceptions and Smile.
Richard is the lead in the hit musical 'Saturday Night Fever' after closing at the Palladium, the show will be on tour in UK. He is currently busy writing and recording in collaboration with various other song writers.
Ben is now starring in the TV hit 'Footballer's
wivies'
