Stefanie is an accomplished young actress, recently described by Lyn Gardner
of the Guardian as 'first rate' and 'revelatory' according to Nicholas de
Jongh.

Born in Beverley 1978, she started dancing soon after and quickly found
acclaim as a talented youngster on the East Coast, winning scholarships and
awards in jazz, tap and ballet, even an invite to train at the well-known
Laine Theatre Arts. Over the next 17 years, she develped a love of
performing, fed by appearances in local pantomime and alongside celebrated
variety acts (Val Doonican, Ken Dodd) in traditional end of the pier shows -
she even fitted in a stint as a 'redcoat' while studying for her A'Levels!

Follwing her theatrical debut at the local Caxton Theatre and acceptance
into the revered National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, Stefanie pursued
her aspirations while studying film at Warwick University. Here she
performed roles as diverse as Dad in 'East', Wendla in 'Spring Awakening'
and the title role in 'The Skriker' in which she was described as
'spectacular' and 'virtuoso' by te press.
The next stage was an intensive training at the prestigious Guildford School
of Acting. In just one year, she was awarded the Principal's prize for
acting, played the challenging role of Nelly Mann in 'Tales from Hollywood',
was nominated for the Carleton Hobbs award and squeezed in a panto
appearance at The Basingstoke anvil.

Since graduating, Stefanie has played parts in classical (Charmion, 'All for
Love', BAC), farce, (Peggy, Come Blow Your Horn, Anna, Hysteria, Salisbury
Playhouse) and musical productions, most notably Sally Bowles in 'Cabaret',
Union Theatre and Rikki in 'The Magic Book', (with Sheffield Crucible).

Recently, she has been involved with new musical theatre writing, playing
the lead in two new pieces at The Bridewell and collaborating with young
award winning composer Conor Mitchell. She received excellent reviews for
her part in the aformentioned's production of 'Have a Nice Life' and has
just appeared in 'Other Women', a concert of Mitchell's work which played at
The Greenwich Theatre.

Elsewhere, Stefanie made a gritty TV debut in 'Crimewatch - Uncovered' and
recently played alongside David Jason in ITV's popular Quest series.

She'd like to thank her dad for cheering inappropriately and her mum for
sewing all the sequins on.
